My house mate and I have transformed our modest, urban garden into a mecca of useful herbs and growable fruit and veggies. New to gardening, we've had some successes and a far few failures. But we are doing and learning and with the help of online resources, numerous books and the knowledge of my Grandmother (Malmesbury's Courgette of the Year 2001).
